Linksys does not have these drivers posted on their site. I guess
since I have a version 1.1 they would mail me the drivers. Well it
has been three days and I still have not got them. If anybody has
these drivers for win98 se can you post a link so i could download
them?

Thanks

Mike

Look on the installation CD, they might be there in a sub folder.
http://www.linksys.com/download/driv...dlid=96&osid=2 for the driver
on Linksys site. driver version 3.30.15 for Win98.

From the info file:
Driver Version 3.20.23
- Wi-Fi Protected Access(TM) support with additional supplicants from
Microsoft (Windows XP) or Funk Software (Windows 98, Me, 2000).
- IEEE 802.11g compliant
- Frame Bursting support
- Windows Logo certified for Windows XP and 2000

That driver link you gave me is for version 2 of the card. I have
version 1.1 and Linksys does not have it on their site. I have the
original drivers on cdrom but, they are not working for me.

Thanks for the help.

Mike

Sorry about that, my error. I checked what I think is the Linksys FTP
site and found nothing there. It is interesting (well, not for you) but
there are no drivers at all for the original version of the card, as if
Linksys denies its existence. If the driver is not working, suspect
something about your mainboard or chipset drivers, the slot is not
working or poor contact, BIOS problem, and the like. Check system
information with the card installed and see if there are any obvious
conflicts that might be correctable.

I fixed the problem. I bought a new card. The new version 2 works
like a charm. No problems. I am gonna RMA the old card.

Thanks

Mike
