I don't see anything that's FHSS specific.
You could use 2 level GFSK for 1Mbit/sec and 4 level GFSK for
2Mbits/sec. The whitened MAC data is just 2 bits fed to the FSK (FM)
modulator and multiplied by the PN sequence.
