NDO - Order accepted by NDO and placed on BT system

Hello,

1) I was wondering how long line tests take?

On the Order Status page it says "Order accepted by NDO and placed on BT
system"

This has been the same since Monday...
I phoned NDO and they said is should be live sometime on the 17th of this
month (Friday)

2) I also would like to find out if they take money for the first month on
the date again on the 17th of this month (Friday)

I`d check with NDO themselves. I`m with them now - not too impressed with
their tech support (just been asked to return their modem, exactly as
supplied to me almost a year ago - so obviously the box, manual etc have
gone in the bin, so they can send me a new one. I don`t WANT a new one, I
bought one myself). Plus troubleshooiting the modem needed me insisting on
a BT engineer visit to confirm the line and filter are working fine, so the
modem was faulty. All the evidence pointed that way, but they didn`t make
the leap themselves.

Having said that, the connection is rock solid, VERY happy with it.
