Have you tried (re)downloading drivers & installing them? That's worth
it...you did NOT mention this step so I think you did NOT do this...Try the

Check with 3COM to confirm which drivers U should use & also ask which other
model drivers support this card...Have you tried using another Network Card?
Chances are your Motherboard might be havinh problems or the interphase card
too...
