Hello,

I have 2 questions on RAS in Win2003:

1. What is Static Routes page in RAS gui? Is it different than system's
routing table: ROUTE ADD, etc.?
2. In public interface properties (in NAT) I enabled TELNET service and
specified IP address of a server on private network. But it never worked:
telnet client from outside (public network) wasn't able to connect to that
telnet server on private network. What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Boris

What address did you use to connect to the telnet server? You must use
the RRAS server's public IP. Private addresses cannot cross the Internet.

In telnet client I specified address of NAT public interface. In NAT
services properties on public interface (as per my post) I specified private
address of server that has telnet service running.
