Ok, probably kinda a dumb question.

We want to implement NAT on our network possibly using a Win2003 server.
Assuming a mask of 255.255.252.0, does it make any difference if we use a
Class A (10.10.x.x) or a class B (172.16.x.x). Don't the first two octets get
screened out anyway?

Thanks

Sheldon

In Windows environment you can forget about class of network. It is
always assumed "ip classless" (in Cisco terms). All defined with mask.
But, if you using ICS (Internet connection sharing) use must use
192.168.x.x network in your LAN.
