Dear all:

I've create a Win2003 be my NAT, setup ICF and ICS.

The client can connect to internet via my NAT.

But when I create port mapping on my ICF, such as port 80,

then it can't pass to my internal website.

I've try other port, such as 25 or 21... etc, all can't pass to my internal
server.

How do I do to make port mapping work?

Many thanks for your reply!

Dear all:

I think my problem was solved.

If I try telnet port 25 on my NAT server, then it can't work.

But if I try same thing on other computer which at out of my NAT, then its
work.

I'm not sure why, but looks like its work.

wouldn't it be a different IP from internal to external? Once NAT changes
the IP I mean.

Yes it is.
Its my first time to create my own NAT, before that I always use IP sharing
to be my NAT.

That is perfectly normal. NAT does not make "U-Turns",...it creates a
situation where the Source and Destination MAC address in the packets are
both the same MAC address. Ethernet, which operates via MAC addresses, can
not reconcile such a situation and shoots itself in the head.
