Hi folks,
I'm putting some windows machines behind a Linux firewall,
and I find that most things work fine. (I can map drives from
servers on the other side of the firewall, for example.) One thing
that doesn't work is domain logins to a domain controller on the
other side of the firewall. This seems to be documented in
the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q172/2/27.asp
I've been looking around for an appropriate
connection tracking module for iptables, but I'm surprised that
I can't find such a thing. Matt Chapman's ip_nat_netbios seems
to be exactly what I want, but it doesn't compile with recent
versions of the 2.4 kernel. (At least I couldn't get it to.)
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bryan
