one simple but intriguing question...!

whats the difference between nameserver and DNS .
Effectively both do they same job..resolve name -> Ip address &
ipAddress -> name

What makes them different ?

The Domain Name System is composed of many Name Servers, often called
DNS Servers. From the other direction, a Name Server is a machine
that implements the DNS protocols as described in RFCs 882 and 883,
which were replaced by RFCs 1034 and 1035, with various other updates.

You might contrast the difference between your national postal system,
and your local post office.
