Hi All,

I am having an issue on my VPN clients connecting to network resources
using the the UNC path. It hangs for a long time and then asks for
user name and password. I can ping by name, connect by IP. We are
running Windows XP SP2, IE7 and using a cisco SSL VPN. I believe this
is a group policy setting. Can someone please point me in the right
direction of the appropriate setting? Maybe an authentication
setting? The windows firewall is disabled, but maybe I am missing
something.

Thx in advance!

If you can ping the name, it doesn't sound like name resolution issue. It could be the master browser issue. If you map the resources using ip and name, do you see any different?
