VPN System error 53 is name resolution issue. Do you have enabled WINS
server for VPN? Or this search result may help.

System ErrorsVPN Case Study - Can ping VPN server but receive System error
53 using net use. Case Study - System Error 53 - The network path was not
found. ...

Wins was off and I can ping the ip address via the vpn. When I am on the same
network as \\server it works fine. I am installing wins to see if it fixes
the problem
