Naim has stopped connecting to AIM. I can still connect from the same
computer when booted to Windows, with AOL's free client.

The developer's web site looks to be in disrepair, and the message
board links show a page from the web hosting company, asking the
developer to give them a call.

Is anybody else still using naim? Is there any discussion or
development going on anywhere?

AOL has a Linux client too.

Yeah, but the computer I'm running on doesn't have the horsepower to
run a GUI very well. I've been running Linux in console mode, and
using naim.

I may have found my own answer at:

http://naimdoc.net/index.php/TOC_Issues

Apparently AOL stopped using the TOC protocol, and is using TOC2.
There is a version based on naim that supports TOC2. I won't have
time to try it until the weekend, but it looks promising.
