People need to start learning about the problem. I bet it is one of 2
things.

1) It is an OEM install of Windows XP that was tweaked by the computer
manufacturer.

2) The computer has SP1 installed and the user hasn't disabled 802.1x
Authentication.

So the source is wrong. They didn't do enough research. I used to
support wireless hardware. Those are the only 2 causes for the problem
listed in that poorly written article.
