Will my new Dell laptop w/built-in wireless connect with MN-500?

I have an existine network, using an SMC7004ABR as nothing
but a print server between two computers. Now enters a new
Dell laptop with built-in wireless networking and SBC DSL.
Can I just add the MN-500 to my existing network, connect
the two routers, and connect the modem to the MS router?
Thanks!

You only want ONE router on your network. You will probably need to run the
MN-500 as a bridge (access point). There are instructions in the user
guide/manual on how to do this.

George,
I don't know what options the SMC device has. I don't know if it is
technically possible to turn off everything else in that device and
use it as a print server. You need to contact SMC on this one.

No, or at least I highly doubt it.
