'My Network Places' is empty

I recently opened 'My Network Places' (from the desktop icon) to find
that it is empty. I don't mean empty as in I haven't added any network
places; I mean empty as in a completely blank window, just with a title
bar, toolbar and status bar. The "middle" is just plain white, with
nothing in it whatsoever, although the status bar reports "7 objects"
which sounds about right as I used to have a few ftp servers listed
before this problem occurred.

Hope you can help,
Allan Lewis.
