Well, the easiest way is to boot with F8 before the logon screen comes up,
getting into Safe Mode so you can go into Device Manager and see if any
driver is banged out there. You can look in Control Panel/Administrative
Tools/Event Viewer (both Application and System in the left pane) and see if
you have any yellow triangles or red circles with white X's in them in the
right pane. Those are problem areas, and you can see a portion of what is
causing the issue by right-clicking them and selecting Properties. This may
lead you to identifying the driver in question.
