MULTIPLE BASE STATIONS

I have a large house with many obstacles to transmit
through. Can I connect a second 700 base station and have
it function just as a repeater between the remote
computers and the other 700 base station that is connected
to the broadband connection? Thanks for the input.

No, the base stations won't operate separately as "repeaters," they need to
be wired to the main router/base station. You may want to look to a true
Access Point, which Microsoft doesn't make. A real AP will be a standalone,
only requiring an electrical connection.
