Multihomed Windows Server 2003 for Backups

Hello all,

What are the best practices for multihoming a Win2003 for backups? Any
caveats or gotchas that we should look out for? Any suggestions or
links appreciated.

In my opinion, best practice is to avoid it like the plague.

Hi, as far as I know, the best is to disable netbios name resoution on backup
interface. You will avoid names conflicts in this way.

Unfortunately many backup programs rely on Netbios names!
