Hi

Windows 2000 server.
2 X nic (different manufacturers).
Both on public IPs on same subnet.
Only one gateway.

Both used to serve SSL web sites (separate cert's).

What is the best way to set this up?
I assume I just specify the default gateway on the first nic?
Would it be better to use one nic with two IP addresses?
(I inherited server with 2 nic's already in it)

Thanks

Thanks but not sure if this is the way to go.
nic's are from different manufacturers and I am not even they support
it.
Is Teaming used for fault tolerance as I have no need fro this.
I just want two separate sites on individual IP addresses.

You can assign multiple IP's using a single NIC.

Thanks.

I did know this and though it would be the way to go.
Was wondering if I could get any advantage by leaving them both in.

Maybe my predecessor used them for fault tolerance/load balancing.

I will remove one of them.
