Multi-port broadband speed tester?

Is there a broadband speed tester which highlights the different ports used
for the more popular uses of broadband (http, ftp, usenet, P2P, etc). It
would be a useful way of establish the impact on any application-specific
throttling that my ISP might have implemented.

'netcat' is a handy tool for transferring arbitrary data to/from arbitrary
ports and hosts. Obviously you would need total control of the hosts at
each end.
