I use an 802.11g Asus WL-330g to connect a computer wirelessly to a
802.11b SMC7004VWBR wireless router.
As per the top diagram at
<http://usa.asus.com/products/communication/wireless/wl-330g/ethernet.htm>,
I want the hub to connect "directly" to the router via the WL-330g and
send all internet traffic from the devices to the router.
The desktop in that diagram connects to the hub, as does the game
console and notebook. The WL-330g is connected to the hub. The
WL-330g is in "ethernet adapter" mode.
I'm trying to get clarification from Asus, but can't get anywhere.
Best results for a technical inquiry from Asus:

Typical response from Asus:

1.) What's the terminology for that setup? WDS? Multi-IP Bridge
Environment? If I can find the buzzword to google that'd help alot.
2.) How is the WL-330g configured for that setup? I can't find
anything in the manual. The configuration utility detects the WL-330g
in "access point" mode, but never in "ethernet adapter" mode.
Thanks,
