We have bound 2 IP addresses to a single NIC in a Windows 2003 Server. They
are 192.x.x.1 and 192.x.x.2 respectively.

We would like to know is it possible for us to change the sequence of IP
binding ? For instance, when we run ipconfig /all, we get
192.x.x.2
192.x.x.1

Can we change it to
192.x.x.1
192.x.x.2 ?

Besides, we would like to know is there any importance of the sequence of
the IP addresses shown ?

Thanks
Peter

The way it is listed in IPConfig doesn't mean anything.

The first IP in the Connection Properties take prioity,...IPs listed in the
Advanced section are secondary.
