Under properties, power management, I see that PDCAP_Wake_From>S3 is
supported so I assume the MN501 is cabable of waking.

I've turned off hibernation and enabled wake from lan in BIOS.

Yet on standby the LED's on the MN501 go off.

I Windows XP, how to I maintain power to the USB port for the MN501?

Thanks.

I presume the item is a MN510? Suggest you look at your motherboard
specs and see if "Wake On USB" is supported and whether you need to set
any jumpers to enable it.

Wake On Lan is supported by BIOS and is enabled.

Wake On USB does not appear in BIOS. I will look at teh Sony Vaio MB.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
