Hi All,

I'm starting to get quite ticked with this whole h.323 deal. I'm running
mandrake 9.2 and using shorewall to setup my IPTables rules.

The shorewall site has an FAQ about MSN messanger, and instructs you to
install and run upnpd which is of course a daemon that tries to emulate
the upnp service that MS ICS exposes.

1. I can't find any way of telling from the MS boxes side, if it has
indeed discovered this upnp gateway that is now running upnpd. There is
no command line to discovery tool or anything of that nature ... or is
there?

All I want is for the MSN voice service to work on my internal host behind
my firewall. Has anyone been through this pain? If so please share or
point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Warrick
