the setup wont continue because it says that the
instalation has been interrupted and then quits

If you're on Windows XP you can use the built-in networking tools to
administer whatever you're trying to do. You don't need to install the
front-end, only the drivers. If not, we need more details.

turn off your anti virus when installing
that is clealy in the instructions to install
