I upgraded to SP2 recently and today I had to update my
copy of MSBBN for compatibility, as I needed to access the
router to try to fiddle with the DNS entries, as a certain
website's no longer accessible from any computer on my network.
After the update and a restart I tried to open MSBBN and it
launched the installation program for it, then asked me to
find MSBN.msi. I couldn't, so I cancelled it and
redownloaded it and started fresh. Near the end of the
installation the same window popped up. I located MSBN.msi
in the installation directory for the new run, but it told
me this was an invalid installation file and that I'd need
to contact support because it couldn't uninstall my copy.
So what gives, and how can I fix this?
