Does anyone know if there is a way to install a MS netware client on
server2003 without installing the complete novell client

I think you can install the native Netware client - in the network
properties on your server, click Install, client....

....but I'd personally be loath to do so.

You would loath it but as I have no choice and there is no MS netware client
in server2003 present (obviously I checked that first!) I need a workaround
for a while. Our authentication server is a netware server for the time being
but I need to connect to it because all the company's files are there.

Yes, it is there. In the properties of your network connection, click
install, client, and you'll see client services for Netware.

I forgot to mention: X64! I read in the article you mentioned that X64 does
not support it.
Thanks for replying anyway
