In the System section of the Event Viewer on my Windows 2003 Server, I am
getting repeated MrxSmb warnings.
When I checked for information in the KB articles, all I find is that they
can safely be ignored.
Well, all fine and dandy EXCEPT that the system logs this warning about once
every second, and is filling up my event logs. As a result, I only have
about the last two to three days of events in the log because anything older
gets removed to make room for more new MrxSmb events...
Is there ANY way to TURN OFF the logging of this error????
Here's the event data:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MRxSmb
Event Category: None
Event ID: 3019
Date: 11/9/2004
Time: 9:32:26 AM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER2
Description:
The redirector failed to determine the connection type.
Please help!!
Thank you in advance for any replies,
Brian
