Reinstalling things is unlikely to resolv unix problems.

The message says, there's no snmpd running on 192.168.1.1
standard port on 192.168.1.1 or it doesn't listen to snmpv1.
Check 192.168.1.1 for running snmpd, no firewall blocking access
from the querying system and alike.
