MQ Series Client & router firewall

I use IBM's MQ Series client for connection to a server for database
up/down loads.

After installing a Verizon DSL Westell 327W wireless modem/router, I
cannot connect with the firewall setting on 'high'. I am reluctant to
set it on 'low' for the obvious security reason. It will connect on a
'low' setting.

I can specify a NAT permission, and I think this is what I need to do,
but I don't know how to do it. The MQ Series protocol is not
recognizable in the router's NAT services listing.

If anyone else is using the MQ Series client I would appreciate some
advice.

TIA, Rich
