Moving from one domain to another

I have a large network with two domains.

In mixed mode, one domain was set up for the new Windows 2003 servers and
the old NT 4 domain still exists as a legacy from years gone by.

Soon, I will get rid of the old NT 4 domain by implementing new Windows 2003
servers.

My problem is that I need to move the workstations from the old domain to
the new domain without having to:

- recreate the desktop
- recreate the HKCU registry settings
- remap the drives
- etc

i.e. I don't want to have to recreate the profile for each user/workstation.

Is there any easy, reliable, consistent way to move workstations from the
old to the new domain simply?

TX in advance.

Maurice

Your post is a little confused here. You talk about moving workstations from
one domain to another but the entire body of your post concerns moving user
account settings from one profile to another.

Assuming you mean the latter, have you looked at User State Migration Tool?

If you don't... then what *do* you mean *exactly*?
