Moving Mail directory to different partition.

Hi,

I have a standard RedHat setup on a server with the Mail held in
/var/spool/mail, running sendmail.

However, the /var partition is getting low on disk space, but the /home
partition has plenty of space.

Can i just move the mail to the /home partition and create a sym link
from /var/spool/mail -> /home/mail?

I don't want to "just try it" in case it breaks all the mail for the site!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes you can do that, a better solution would be to change your final
delivery in your procmail configuration file.

See the documentation of procmail for that.
