Hi everyone,

just moved an entire LAN to static IP addressing from DHCP. The server is
NT4 SP6 running WINS.

All machine moved fine apart from 2 Win98 SE laptops. They can browse the
internet (so DG setting is fine) and browse the LAN. In Outlook they can
resolve the user name with the Exchange Server but they cannot resolve the
name or the IP address of the Exchange server.

Sounds like a WINS thing to me but the setting are mirrored from other Win98
machines that do work so it does not make much sense...

Any ideas? I have already removed and reinstalled TCP IP

Kou
