Seeing as BT are increasing prices ,I was wondering if changing to
another Telecoms provider would affect my broadband connection?

I am using an EntaNet reseller.

Thanks.

Bye for now.

Clive.

Keep your line rental with BT as only BT (also Kingston Communications)
are forced to allow cheap call providers.

DD and paper-free bill - BT Line rental £10.50 / month.

You could get free caller display, though no requires 2 calls per month
to go via BT - dial 1280 first if CPS'd to Primus for example.

Sign up to Primus on their Primus Saver 2 option (resist them asking if
you want their line rental, also ensure it's the free tarrif).

Primus offer for £0.00 per month inclusive evening and weekend calls
(each call up to 90 mins, redial if you don't want charging to kick in)
Primus daytime rate doesn't start until 08:00 unlike others at 06:00 so
2 extra hours per weekday of free calls. Per second billing and no
connection fee but a small minimum charge (on non-free calls).
Sign up to Call 18185 and use them for daytime calls at 5p per call,
mobile calls are 3p/min weekends and 6p/min weekdays + 5p connection.

Call 18185: www.call18185.co.uk

Don't worry about your broadband, it will be fine.

Carrier pre-selection certainly doesn't affect it.

Primus appear to have min charge of 7p for mobiles and 4p for other
calls - which could add up to a considerable part of your total bill if
you make frequent short calls. If so, consider firstTelecom; limited
offpeak allowance for free, but 1.2p minimum call charge (and cheaper
daytime per-minute rates)

Don't know where you get that from John. I'm on Primus and they have no call
setup fee and 0p/min evening/weekends. At other times, 18185 is better.
Basically, there's too much info for me to retype here but have a look at:
