Hello guys,
I have a question regarding this kit. I think only people that have
purchased it can give me an answer.
I want to know if the router inside the kit is v1,v2, or v3. This can
be found on the actual router on the bottom, near the FCC logo. In the
manual published here:
http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...uide_6.1.4.pdf
you can find a sample picture on page 14 (It says 1-8 on bottom left).

At http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/...otorola/WR850G I found
out that v3's have a non-detachable antenna. Since the description of
the kit states that the router has a removable antenna this leads me to
believe it's either a v1 or v2.

I want the router in this kit because I need it to run OpenWRT. I'm
planing on doing some experimenting with firewalls, etc. and it would
be a great benefit to have the serial port easily available. The serial
port is easily accessible only on versions v2,v3.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Thank you

Just in case anybody else needs that info: the kits have v2 routers.
