I've recently purchased a Motorola V180 cell phone, which supports data
transfer. While Windows software is available, I'd like to get it going
with Linux. Has anyone done this or similar?

tnx jk

Well; I installed the software and it recognized my phone but it was unable to
connect to it and thus not able to download my pictures.
I hope you have more luck. I will look around for more information or docs for
the software. Maybe I missed something.

I wonder if something has to be enabled with your cell phone carrier?
