I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a problem I get while changing
settings in the modem.
I log in to the modem as admin, and when I try to make a change in any
screen, in this case it was port forwarding, I instantly get bounced back to
the login screen. I suspect my browser, IE6, XP service pack 2, all the
latest security updates, but have nothing more to go on, I have flushed
temporary files and history, to no avail.

Thanks in advance for any help

are the settings still being saved? some routers need to reboot if you
change anything reguarding the port forwarding or routing table.

As soon as I hit "ADD" after entering the settings, IE clicks about 3 times
and flashes and I'm back at the login screen, so I have no idea, but, going
back to the port forwarding screen, everything is as it was before.

TIA
