More than one PDC?

Hi,

can I have more than one primary domain controller? I have a sat receiver
which seems only to detect my network shares on Linux boxes if these boxes
provide their shares as samba server configured as PDC. Is it an issue to
have more than one PDC? What are the effects with that?
