More than one ap in the same area?

I am installing ap's around our bldg's. Is there a overlap setting on cisco
ap's? Needed to get more information...

If everyone is going to be on the same network, you could set the SSID
and encryption to be the same on each AP but give each AP its own
channel. If each AP is going to represent a separate network, give
each one its own SSID, encryption keys and channel. It might be a
good idea to enable MAC address filtering on each AP under these
conditions.

Thx for the reply Doug. What I have done to this point is set the ssid to be
the same and set the encryption to 40 bit on the transmit side. I also had
information on encryption mode wep mandatory mic key-hash, which I have
enabled (still researching this one). The authentication I have set to open
and used guest mode. Could you recommend a good book on Cisco wireless? I
will move forward with your channel suggestion, this sounds like a good
