Hi

I have a dlink 604+ Router

I have all the 4 network ports taken ( 3 x desktops 1 x Xbox live) I want to
add another 2 computers and another xbox.

Would I have to add some kind of hub? If so which model of dlink hub would I
need.

Thanks

Peter

PS: Even tho this is also a wifi router, I don't want to use the wireless
feature on anything as I only use that for my laptop, so I would need
everything else wired.

Just buy yourself a cheap 10/100 switch, you may need to use
a cross-over cable to connect it to your router.
Disconnect one of your desktops from the router, connect the
switch to the router, connect your desktop to the switch,
and voila!. Make sure the switch has enough ports for your
needs.

Exactly - doesn't have to be a D-link product at all. In fact, rather
than making sure the new 10/100 switch (that you're going to get to
expand your connections) has enough ports, you could view it another way
and keep adding little 10/100 four (or five) port units as needed,
because that way you can locate the various extending 10/100 switches
where you want them, rather than having to snake all the cables to one
central point. I'm more in favour of lots of little switches dotted
around, than one big mega switch. It's almost as cheap to use those
little four or five port switches as if they were localised ethernet
sockets themselves!

Alternatively, wireless up some of the PCs! The DSL-604+ is wireless
after all...

Yes. You're getting the hang of this now - you can basically use just
about *any* switch.
