Can anyone suggest a good broadband ISP that offers a monthly NOT yearly
contract?

Plusnet offer several monthly contracts.
Of course I'd be gratefull if you'd enter 'mauve' in the referrer box.

The cheapest account is 512K/14.99, capped at 1G/month, with extra for more
money.
The extra however caps at 21.99 (?) so it's useful for varied usage, from
flat-out P2P to light user.

There are also other deals that may suit.

I would recommend Plus.net or ndo.com (equally as good).

But, in your enthusiasm for one ISP, you are *TOTALLY* ignoring the OP's
requirements!!!!!!!!

PlusNet charge £70.50 for activaion for a monthly broadband contract, Virgin charge
NOTHING!!!! For genuinely short term contracts Virgin are almost imposssible to beat.

Oopsie, I somehow missed that, when comparing.
