Im looking for software that I can use to monitor the traffic on my Home
network

I havea linksys wrt54g router .. and have

1 pc connected -wired
1 pc connected - wireless
1 xbox - wireless
1 laptop - wireless

I cant seem to find any software that can be installed on just one PC, say
my laptop, and have access to the traffic on my whole nework.

Something like CommVIew would be SWEET but theres no way I can afford its
price

Is there anything out there that meets my needs> thanks

SImon

The router is where the network traffic is being, well, routed, so
that's where the monitoring would need to take place, for everything you
list.

It wouldn't be sweet, as it wouldn't do what you want - seeing as remote
monitoring is relayed by software running on the other machines, it
wouldn't cover the xbox. I've never come across anything cheap/free that
does the rest anyway, maybe someone else has?

There are probably some (presumably very pricey) routers that could do
it, or an entirely different setup, depending on what you want monitoring.
