Monitoring A Linux Proxy

we have a setup wherin the people access the internet via
a linux proxy server. Is there any way that i can
monitor the contents of the public domain email
services like yahoo, hotmail that people access
thr the proxy.

any help will be higly appreciated.

Yep, this sounds really strange and might be pretty
illegal in numerous countries.

yes we have the permission, since somebody
from withing the organization is sending
unwarranted mails to the mgmt.
