hi all
would like some advice please.
i have just subscribed to tiscali broadband,no problem setting up with there
modem and software.
my problem is trying to set a MRI-UDSL02 modem up for my laptop upstairs in
my bedroom.
i purchased this off ebay but not sure if it is faulty or it is me at fault
trying to set it up.
on the front of the modem is two lights adsl and data.
only the adsl lights up is this correct or should they both light up
all tips appreciated

You can`t use two broadband modems at the same time...

Now you've pointed that out I understand the OP! If you switch off the
modem downstairs you can connect the one upstarirs.

I seem to remember seeing something about only having one modem being
plugged in at a time too, so he may also have to unplug one altogether
first...
