Firstly, at one stage you couldn't have DSL provided on featurenet lines (no
I don't know the reasons why)...
Secondly your DSL modem doesn't actually dial any number, it's just a by
product of using a DUN to connect...
Thirdly, if anything you could try 0,38 in the number box...
Fourthly, if this is a self install, over 85% of the faults attended are
caused by incorrect placement of filters or equipment not being filtered.
All installs are now tested at the exchange before being connected to the
end users line which catches most problems (remember DSL will work over
lines in-capable of carrying any type of analogue telephone service)..
All in all I would suspsect something isn't right on site
