Modem/Router Question

A friend of mine contacted me earlier - he is trying to get a ADSL router he
has brought to work with his ADSL line...

I have never heard of the the make before (Edimax AR-6004) but have finally
tracked down a copy of his manual.

Normally, I would recommend that he choose PPPoA+NAT to set up the
router(its the only time PPPoA is mentioned!) but he is getting 8 public IP
addresses from his ISP and wants them all to be "visible" to the outside
world- thus is there a better option for him to choose or is this router
just no good re: being used with multiple IP addresses?
