I am thinking of going wireless & broadband. However, I want to be sure
I get good coverage as I want the signal to get through two walls (1
brick & 1 Plaster). I had thought of getting this Belkin package (until
I read the reviews at the bottom of the page):

I am now thinking of this, but it is twice the price and looks rather
cumbersome(!):

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Many thanks

Personally I prefer Draytek 2600VG or Zyxel 2602HWL wifi routers with VoIP
ports, both very good and reliable, but not cheap.
Definitely stay away from Netgear, unless you can manage without any support
and enjoy upgrading the firmware every few weeks.
If budget is tight I would suggest D-Link 604T, have set one up for friend
and it works fine apart from slight buzzing sound.

BTW I would recommend using USB adapter such as D-Link G122 with length of
cable.
Sometimes is difficult to get a good signal where you need to use your
notebook,
and placing the receiver higher up (above furniture) works better.
Often half an inch can make difference.
Regards,
Martin
