Ok, ive given up with the speedtouch usb modem. Now i know nothing about
wireless routers
but thats the way ive decided to go so can someone explain what i need to
buy in order to get
an internet connection that i can share between 2 laptops. I have a 1mbit
adsl connection.
Can you share files between the 2 computers? ,Can 2 computers be on the net
at the same
time?. Exactly what components do i need for this setup and can someone
recommend a product.
Also what ports/connections do i need on the 2 computers. See , i told you i
knew nothing.

Andy.

Yes - though this is nothing to do with the Internet connection per se.

Yes.

If you want wireless buy something called a wireless ADSL router if not then

There are gazillions - all should work fine.

For wired connection you need a network interface on each laptop - most
have this built in. For wireless you need a wireless connectio in each
laptop - some have this, add-in cards are available for others.
