Modem Driver Wanted

Hay, guys, I am trying look for one driver program for Agere Systems
AC97 Modem. I appreciate any suggestion.

That's not a modem, that's a sound card with a telephone line interface
on it, also known as a "winmodem" because it is really only designed to
work with Windows.

Have you checked <http://www.linmodems.org/>? I know the Lucent "LT
Winmodem" is supported, but that one actually has a DSP chip. I don't
think the AC97 ones are supported as they are completely software driven
but you never know.

Buying a real controller-based modem might be less frustrating in the
long run, as even with Windows there are problems with these things when
upgrading versions.
