I'm considering the purchase of a 'holiday home' in North Wales.
Morfa Bychan near Porthmadog.
I know nowt about mobile BB as I'm quite happy with my plusnet service at
home.
The guy in the computer shop in Porthmadog recommended 'Three' as if all
else fails they will 'roam' on another network to get a signal.
Is that true?
I switched my Orange phone to the UTMS setting there and it said 'no
signal', does that mean there will be no Orange mobile broadband available
there?

And if you buy it through Quidco, there's another
£12 cashback

AIUI Three mobile SIMs will roam onto Orange 2G. Three dongle SIMs won't.
The S2 phone will come with a mobile SIM so that's fine.

If there's Orange GPRS then Three may work (but most likely to be
very flaky - I posted a semi-workaround to this group a week ago). I don't
know whether Orange's mobile broadband will work on GPRS.
